We’re proud of the work environment that we have created, but appreciate that it won't be the right fit for every talented candidate that comes along.  During our recruitment process, we take the time to assess compatibility between an individual’s values, ethics and standards with those of Urban Systems.  We put a lot of energy into the recruitment process because we know that when there is a good fit, great things can happen.

Step 1:

First review our website or contact us to learn more about who we are, what we do, our working environment, our people and who we employ.  You should also visit the Current Opportunities page and the locations where you are interested in to find out more about what they have to offer.  

Step 2:

Submit your resume, covering letter and completed Candidate Questionnaire as outlined above under How to Apply.

Step 3:

Once we receive your resume, your application will be carefully considered against the position you are applying for and/or our current business needs.  When you submit your resume via email, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt of your application.  Those individuals chosen for a first round interview will be contacted approximately two weeks after receipt of your application. 

Step 4:

The first interview will be a preliminary discussion to give you an opportunity to highlight your background, career goals and other pertinent information.   This will also be an opportunity for you to get additional information about the position. 

If there is a mutual fit, a second interview may be scheduled to discuss in more detail both your work and educational experience.  The second interview will also involve an office visit to give you an opportunity to learn more about our company from key members of the USL team.   

Step 5:

If you are successful in our recruitment process, you will be contacted with an offer.  At this point, we would be glad to answer any questions and help guide you through the decision making process

About Relocation

Moving to a new community can be unsettling and so we do everything that we can to ease the transition.  We offer help with the cost of moving expenses and can provide information on the local rental accommodation market to help you to find a place to call home.
